Steel production and processing

In rolling mills, advanced processes and better furnace technology ensure lower waste gas temperatures. The SteelFlow convection recuperator with its high efficiency is therefore a good choice even at low temperatures. In holding furnaces, it helps to maintain temperature stability.

Aluminium melting furnaces

Due to the difficult chemical conditions with chlorine and fluorine in the exhaust gases, the use of salt when scraping off the slag or the dust produced when melting down scrap, the performance and durability of a recuperator is crucial. Specifically developed for the requirements of the aluminium industry, the Peiler AluFlow sets standards in terms of efficiency and durability.

Thermal post-combustion

Economic analyses show that even larger exhaust air preheaters (with temperatures of 500 °C to 600 °C) can often be amortised in less than two years - even at combustion temperatures of approx. 800 °C, if the hot gases from the combustion chamber flow directly through the recuperator. However other circuit variants are also extremely econimical, even if the flue gases contain large amounts of dust, the Peiler ThermaFlow offers optimum solutions.

Glass production

The glass industry requires extremely high melting temperatures. Ceramic furnaces

Porcelain as well as earthenware and stoneware are fired at high temperatures, the so-called glost firing of porcelain, for example, requires temperatures of up to 1,480 °C for around 30 hours. Crematoria

The cremation of the deceased takes place in two stages: In the first stage, temperatures of around 900 °C are reached in a muffle furnace and in the second stage, temperatures of up to 1,200 °C are reached by additionally switching on a gas burner. The second stage consumes a lot of energy, so the use of a Peiler recuperator leads to noticeable energy savings.
